Dear Friends,
Starting in 2008, I decided to not hold a typical birthday party with dinner and cake for myself, and, instead, use this time of annual gathering to photograph my closest friends from that year. It was meant to be an art project, a recording of time and a gift back to my friends, as everyone gets a present of their photos for Christmas.
